Custom Project Manager
Full-Time | Hybrid Field & Office | Tacoma, WA
A growing Pacific Northwest custom manufacturing and commercial interiors company is seeking a highly creative, technically minded Custom Project Manager to lead complex, one-of-a-kind commercial build projects from concept through installation.
This is not a traditional “check-the-box” project management role. The ideal candidate thrives in highly customized environments where every project is different, details matter, and creative problem-solving is part of the daily workflow.

- Interpret design intent and help translate concepts into manufacturable, installable solutions
- Review drawings, layouts, materials, site conditions, and project constraints
- Support problem-solving related to custom millwork, cabinetry, metals, trim, wall systems, architectural features, and specialty finishes
- Visit job sites regularly to support field execution and ensure project success
- Manage multiple active projects simultaneously with shifting priorities and timelines
- Help identify constructability concerns before they become production or installation issues
- Communicate clearly with both highly creative stakeholders and hands-on field teams
- Balance project timelines, budgets, logistics, and customer expectations in a fast-moving environment
