Job summary

Finley Asphalt and Sealing, Inc. in Virginia is seeking a Project Manager to work with stakeholders, plan work assignments, and manage budgets to deliver contracts on time and within scope.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with current customers.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Finley’s services and pricing. Work on term contracts.
  • Manage current term contracts. Prepare take offs for change orders from customers.
  • Utilize the company’s proposal management system daily, documenting activities and developing customer profiles.
  • Meet with senior project manager to review weekly activities, project progress, two-week look ahead, and coordination with field superintendents.
  • Attend operation meetings to discuss projects in progress.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets customer and company expectations.
  • Administer current GC and future term contracts.
  • Follow up with customers after project completion.
  • Work with office staff to invoice completed projects and assist in collections if required.

The Project Manager works closely with the stakeholders, managing relationships and creating benchmarks for successful deliveries. The Project Manager plans work assignments that meet deadline requirements while considering changes in budget or scope during the execution of the contract.

**** Will include a relocation bonus, if outside VA. ****

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships with current customers of the company.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Finley’s services and pricing structure. Work on existing and future term contracts.
  • Manage current term contract projects. Prepare take offs for change order request from the customer.
  • Utilize the company’s proposal management system on a daily basis, documenting activities, developing prospective customer profiles and term unit contract format.
  • Regularly meet with senior project manager to review weekly project activities, progress on projects, two week look ahead, and coordination with FAC’s field superintendents.
  • Meet weekly on FAC’s operation’s meeting to discuss current projects on FAC’s work in progress list.
  • Inspect the completed work to make sure it meets the customer and the company’s expectations.
  • Administer Current GC and /Future Term Contracts
  • Follow up with the customer after the project has been completed.
  • Work with the office staff to invoice the completed projects and assist in collection of the monies if required.
