Job summary

Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal is seeking a results-driven estimator/purchasing coordinator to support commercial exterior envelope projects. You will perform take-offs, prepare cost estimates, and serve as the primary contact for customers, ensuring accurate, timely proposals and strong client communication.

This role requires at least 2 years in roofing/construction, proficiency in MS Office, and solid organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in the roofing/construction industry.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills; both internal and external
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Complete project take-offs and cost estimates.
• Provide outstanding customer service to potential and existing customers.
• Generate new business to meet divisional goals
• Manage crews in an effective manner.
• Act as the single point of contact with the customer(s).
• Total responsibility for project profitability and quality.
• Interacts with estimators, engineering, payroll and other support personnel during all phases of construction.
• Materials purchasing.
• Support field foreman and corporate safety program during the construction phase.
• Change Order management and administration.
• Job Cost Management.
• Process and manage the accuracy of time and material cost items.
