Job summary

Kalkreuth Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. is seeking a skilled project manager to join our team in Kentucky. This role focuses on site visits, estimating design-build work, and managing roof-system projects from start to finish, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates have 5 years in roofing/construction and strong Office skills; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but construction experience is acceptable. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Experience in roofing/construction is required or preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but construction experience is acceptable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organization, prioritization and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Job site visits, measuring and inspecting commercial and residential roofs.
• Develop estimates for design build, TFO, maintenance agreements and repairs.
• Diagnose roof leaks and deficiencies on all roof types.
• Provide outstanding customer service to potential and existing customers.
• Generate new business and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Project a professional company image in person and over the phone.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Job site visits, measuring and inspecting commercial and residential roofs
• Develop estimates for design build, TFO, preventative maintenance agreements, and repairs of all roof types
• Ability to diagnose roof leaks and deficiencies on all types of roof systems
• Provide outstanding customer service to potential and existing customers
• Generate new business
• Project Management from inception to completion and timely follow-up
• Project a professional company image both in person and on phone
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in the roofing/construction industry
• Bachelor's degree preferred but will accept construction experience in lieu of
• Previous experience with Single Ply Membrane, Built-Up Roof Systems, Shingle Roof Systems and Metal Roof Systems is required
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills; both internal and external
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
