Job summary

JDL Corporate Interiors, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in Boston, MA to plan, execute, and close out interior commercial construction projects within tight budgets and schedules. You will oversee the full lifecycle, coordinate with estimating, manage billing, and ensure client satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. Travel within Boston and surrounding towns is expected.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage interior commercial construction projects through full lifecycle.
• Create and execute project schedules to meet client requirements.

• Review financial data to identify potential issues and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain updated project schedules by communicating with the Project Superintendent.
• Cultivate strong client relations through regular meetings and status updates.

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and close-out projects based upon strict deadlines and budgets.

Job Duties

As a JDL Corporate Interiors, Inc. Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Directing and managing interior commercial construction projects for an entire project lifecycle.
• Creating, implementing, and executing an overall project schedule that meets client requirements.
• Collaborating with Estimating to review contract documents, and award subcontractors.
• Reviewing all financial data with attention to detail to quickly identify potential/existing issues.
• Administering the billing and collections process to ensure timely payments.
• Communicating regularly with the Project Superintendent to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule, as well as keeping them active in decision‑making.
• Meeting frequently with client representatives at various jobs to determine requirements and maintain favorable client relations.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines;
• Demonstrates strong leadership, professionalism, and attention to detail;
• High energy level and enthusiasm;
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written;
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills;
• Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office based programs;
• Ability to handle confidential information;
• Ability to travel within Boston and surrounding towns;
