Job description

Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support during all phases of HVAC construction to ensure project standards, budget, deadlines and communications are maintained.
  • Review, organize and distribute contract documents (drawings, specifications, schedules, RFIs, construction bulletins, etc.) and shop drawings/submittals to the project team.
  • Distribute and log all activities, draft, submit and track RFIs and their responses.
  • Attend field coordination meetings and distribute meeting notes.
  • Administer project‑specific quality control program and compile documentation.
  • Administer and update progress drawings and as‑built drawings.
  • Administer project close‑out documentation (operation and maintenance manuals, startup reports, owner training and punch lists).
  • Review and understand project documents; communicate and clarify questions/issues with the project team.
  • Identify, price and negotiate change orders.
  • Provide duration/task information to the general contractor for the overall project schedule; develop weekly/bi‑weekly work plans.
  • Review overall project schedule and provide feedback to the general contractor as needed.
  • Manage labor requirements with the manpower coordinator; attend weekly manpower/labor meetings.
  • Perform site walkthroughs and inspections; ensure all safety requirements are performed (site plans, audits, toolbox talks, pre‑task planning).
  • Manage, track and report labor productivity and job financial status using accounting software on a weekly basis.
  • Track, update and report job financial status, potential risks; manage communication between subcontractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate project costs.
  • Assemble and ensure project billings are submitted on time while striving for positive cash flow.
  • Track, monitor and communicate project collection issues including lien rights management and customer calls.
  • Prepare for and attend monthly project management reviews, communicating project financials, status and updates.
  • Develop, build and maintain relationships with key clients (owners and general contractors).
  • Support the sales process by establishing industry relationships to ensure future project sales growth.
  • Attend customer outings and events; communicate company interest and capabilities for future projects and/or change orders.
  • Support and drive division sales goals; manage key accounts accordingly.

Pay Range: $75,521.24 – $113,281.86 (actual salary offer varies based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location).
