Layton Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee planning, management, and execution of assigned construction projects. The role may handle multiple projects, aiming to maximize profitability while achieving quality and safety standards and owner expectations.

You will champion The Layton Way by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers, upholding integrity, safety, and quality in all work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is required.
• Minimum five years of project management experience.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Knowledge of commercial construction processes and estimating concepts.
• Understanding of contractual language and how to protect the company.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team in developing the project management plan (PMP).
• Manage project budgets and unit cost reports.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment within budget.
• Develop and monitor quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Negotiate change orders and manage costs and profitability.
• Prepare monthly client pay requests and track collections.
• Ensure timely close out including as-builts and final letters.
