Job summary

Veit is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to bid and secure construction projects and then manage awarded work from start to finish. You will lead schedules, monitor progress, ensure compliance, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, along with proficiency in construction software and MS Office. Travel to job sites is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; minimum of 5 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Construction Bidding and Project Management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with MS Teams is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Bid and secure construction projects through client relationships and networking.
• Manage contract work from start to finish including scheduling, cost containment, and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and communication between project managers, field, and office support.
• Manage billing and accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
