Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking an Associate Construction Manager to oversee construction, warranty, and tenant improvement activities supporting development and operations. You will evaluate project needs, interpret contracts, assess risks, and guide decisions with contractors and internal leaders.

Reporting to the Sr. Construction Project Manager, you will manage 2–6 projects annually, align scope with budget and schedule, and ensure quality throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, business, or related field with four years of progressive experience.
• 2–3 years of experience and knowledge of building construction, design, and project management methodologies.
• Experience with project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the warranty program and hold contractors accountable for timely completion.
• Direct the tenant improvement allowance collection and reconciliation process.
• Manage approximately 2–6 construction projects per year.
• Independently manage assigned projects from planning through closeout, prioritizing scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Interpret contracts, leases, drawings, specs, surveys, and related documents to guide project decisions.
• Advise partners on project risks, tradeoffs, requirements, and actions affecting delivery.
