Job summary

Heartland Dental is seeking an Associate Construction Manager to oversee construction, warranty, and tenant improvement activities for its rapidly expanding network. You will evaluate project requirements, interpret contracts, and advise leadership on scope, cost, and schedule decisions across multiple projects.

Working with limited day-to-day direction, you will coordinate with contractors, vendors, landlords, and internal leaders while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, business, or a related field plus four years of progressively responsible construction, development, facilities, or project management experience.
• 2–3 years of experience & knowledge of building construction, building design & project management methodologies.
• Project management software experience.
• Ability to travel more than 10% of the time based on business and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ServiceChannel warranty program for assigned projects, assessing issues and establishing resolution strategies.
• Direct the tenant improvement allowance collection and reconciliation process to protect the company’s financial interests.
• Manage approximately 2–6 construction projects a year.
• Independently manage assigned construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Advise on project risks and report milestones, costs, risks, and recovery plans to leadership.
