Job summary

ExplorUS in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. You will develop goals, manage resources, mitigate risks, and lead teams to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, ability to read construction drawings, and collaboration with Federal, State, and local agencies; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5+ years’ experience in Project Management, including on-site construction experience.
• Experience with Federal Agencies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule detailed project plans, coordinate with operations and outside consultants.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and prepare cost estimates.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, engage consultants and vendors.
• Lead project teams and assign tasks to ensure collaboration.
• Identify risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
• Communicate with Federal, State, and Local agencies and report progress.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and close projects with cost reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as requested.
