Job summary

Derrel's Mini Storage is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards. You will define scope, allocate resources, coordinate teams, and communicate with stakeholders to keep projects on track.

The role demands strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with travel between locations and a focus on safety and efficiency across trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; travel between locations required
• PMP certification preferred (not required)
• 3–5 years of experience managing projects, preferably in construction, facilities, or related industry

Responsibilities

• Planning: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and detailed plans with timelines, resources, and costs
• Resourcing: Identify and allocate personnel, funding, and other resources
• Execution: Lead project team through execution, assign tasks, and clarify responsibilities
• Monitoring: Track progress, monitor costs and schedules, identify and resolve issues or risks
• Communication: Act as main contact for internal clients and stakeholders, manage expectations
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve conflicts or challenges impacting the project
• Delivery: Ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
