Description
The Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and executing projects for Derrel's Mini Storage from initiation through completion, ensuring each project is finished on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role defines project scope, creates budgets, allocates resources, coordinates teams, creates schedules, tracks progress, mitigates risks, and communicates with stakeholders across the organization. The Project Manager applies strong leadership, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills to successfully deliver projects that support company operations.
Planning: Defines the project's scope, objectives, and deliverables, and creates detailed project plans that outline timelines, resources, and costs.
Resourcing: Identifies and allocates the personnel, funding, and other resources needed to meet project goals.
Execution: Leads and guides the project team through the execution phase, assigns tasks, and ensures everyone understands their responsibilities.
Monitoring: Tracks project progress, monitors costs and schedules, and identifies and resolves issues or risks as they arise.
Communication: Serves as the main point of contact for internal clients and stakeholders, manages expectations, and ensures effective communication within the project team.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identifies and resolves conflicts or challenges that could impact the project.
Delivery: Ensures each project is successfully delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
Work is performed in a combination of indoor office settings and outdoor grounds. The employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and moderate noise. Regular travel between locations may be required.
