Job summary

DOWL is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager in Anchorage, AK to manage and deliver construction services with a focus on quality and client satisfaction. The role requires travel to project sites and a strong foundation in civil/ construction engineering principles.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Management, at least 4 years of project experience, and EIT certification; advanced degrees or PM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Management is required.
• 4 years of relevant project experience required.
• 3 years of relevant project experience with an advanced degree.
• EIT required.
• PE and/or PMP preferred.
• PMIT certification required; PM certification preferred.
• Driving is an essential job function or a valid driver’s license is required to support legitimate business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction project management and field coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee scope, schedule, and budget with the project team and clients.
• Mentor less experienced team members and provide leadership in safe, quality project execution.
