Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related work experience.
• 4+ years of construction experience; experience with a general contractor on large-scale projects is preferred.
• 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
• Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions and manage projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate communication among project stakeholders and support the Senior Project Manager.
• Manage risk and monitor progress against the schedule.
• Lead, train, and develop project team members.
• Prepare monthly job status reports detailing priorities and issues.
• Drive safety culture on the project site.
• Support acquisition of new work through proposals and presentations.
• Establish and monitor deadlines; maintain positive working relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms.
