Job summary

Responsibilities

• Identifies and qualifies subcontractors and vendors for assigned scopes.
• Prepares and transmits bid packages and invitations to bid.
• Receives and analyzes bids; may negotiate and award subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Prepares and maintains purchase control log.
• Participates in design reviews and monitors scope, cost changes, and constructability.
• May be responsible for permits tracking/expediting.
• Prepares detailed estimates and cost codes for cost control reporting.
• Works with accounting to manage subcontractor and vendor payments.
• Updates progress schedules and short-term interval plans.
• Assists in planning construction operations and sequences.
• Interacts with clients on correspondence, change orders, and pay requisitions.
• Manages submittals; maintains submittal and RFI logs.
• Assists in subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality management.
• Assists in project close-out: unit cost history, manuals, punch lists, inspections.
