Explore St. Louis is seeking a proactive Construction Project Manager to bridge communication, schedules and documentation across renovation projects. You will coordinate bids, manage contracts and oversee site activities to ensure timely and quality delivery.

This role requires hands-on leadership, a proactive approach and strong organization across multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will guide operations through budgets, inspections and risk management, while maintaining schedules

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain an online work order system to execute repair and preventative maintenance functions.
• Supervise all contracts and services related to construction and renovation projects.
• Prepare construction bid documents and coordinate consultants, suppliers and contractors.
• Interview contractors to receive and analyze bids and blueprint changes.
• Perform supervisory duties and act as liaison among contractors, architects, engineers and suppliers.
• Develop and implement an inspection program for construction and renovation work areas.
• Schedule pre-bid meetings and project reviews.
• Coordinate contractor activities with facility event requirements.
• Collaborate with Trades departments on construction and renovation projects.
• Assist Operations in developing procedures for operation, maintenance and record-keeping.
• Plan and prepare budgets for Operations including personnel costs and equipment.
• Act as Manager on Duty for Operations during building events.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned; work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
