Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in St. Louis to support the Senior Project Manager on all project aspects.

You will focus on document control, RFIs, submittals, material delivery, and coordination with subcontractors. You will act as main contact for Owners, design teams, and field staff; help prepare cost updates, schedules, and project reports; assist with development of estimates and bids; mentor Project Engineers and ensure compliance with safety and quality

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience within the construction industry in project management or similar role.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA-30 preferred.
• Additional proficiencies may include cost management software (Timberline, Sage), scheduling software (Primavera P6) and construction management software (Procore).

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for Owners, OPMs and Design Teams.
• Coordinate weekly meetings with subcontractors, design teams, and owners to resolve field conflicts.
• Support cost and change management; prepare reports and present at meetings.
• Assist in development of estimates and bid proposals for lump sum and GMP projects.
• Oversee Project Engineer responsibilities including document control, RFIs, submittals, and material delivery.
• Mentor Project Engineers and maintain relations with subcontractors regarding schedules and insurance.
• Coordinate project master schedule with Superintendent and project team.
