Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Management is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor to support a multi-family construction project in Jacksonville, NC. The role offers a path to oversee future projects in other areas after 1+ year.

The position requires 1–2 years of construction or project management experience, strong problem-solving, and a focus on safety and client relations. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of construction and/or project management experience.
• Knowledge of both residential and commercial systems.
• Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft programs.
• Ability to perform construction related tasks in the field if needed.
• Excellent problem solving skills; take initiative mindset.
• Strong focus on customer relations.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead Site Supervisor in day-to-day operations and scheduling for assigned projects.
• Maintain targeted schedule compliance.
• Ensure safety and quality are top priorities on site.
• Ensure client contract compliance is upheld.
• Manage vendors and subcontractors during project life.
• Maintain communications with clients and respond to requests promptly.
• Provide courteous and prompt service to all clients and protect confidentiality.
• Document employee performance for direct reports and communicate actions.
• Adhere to operating procedures to maximize efficiency.
• Organize and lead weekly safety meetings with agenda and minutes.
