Ames Construction is seeking an Intern to support project sites in Farmington, NM, assisting with project management, document control, and coordinating safety and field operations. This role offers hands-on experience on highway heavy/civil projects under experienced professionals.

Ideal candidates are college juniors or seniors pursuing Civil, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, with proficiency in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Outlook and strong organizational and time

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
• Current college junior or senior status
• Experience working on civil or other construction site(s) desired
• Computer literate in Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Outlook
• Strong organizational, written, verbal and time management skills
• Good attention to detail and the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Have a positive attitude and excellent self-motivational skills
• Ability to perform under schedule restraints
• Good time management skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
