Job summary

Ames Construction is seeking an Intern to support project sites with project management, document control, and collaboration with safety personnel and field operations. This paid internship offers hands-on experience and professional networking across civil construction projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management degree and are current juniors or seniors. Proficiency with Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Outlook is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Current college junior or senior status.
• Experience on civil or construction sites is a plus.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support highway heavy/civil construction site, project management or estimating.
• Assist with document control, submittals, monthly billing.
• Assist with field operations, safety or environment requirements.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
