STO Building Group in Utah is seeking a motivated accounting professional to support financial management on construction projects. You will prepare, review, and report budgeted versus actual costs, and participate in monthly financial reporting and compliance activities.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and timely data delivery, including owner billings, subcontractor reviews, and state tax compliance. A bachelor’s in accounting with 1–3 years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 1-3 years accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail essential.
• Cost accounting in construction is a plus.
• Experience with audit firms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly review of project budgets, costs, and profitability.
• Prepare and review owner billings for projects.
• Review subcontractor and supplier financial statements.
• Track fixed assets acquisitions and disposals.
• Assist in state tax compliance for projects.
• Improve reports for operations within time constraints.
