Job summary

Divcon, a leading nationwide automation solutions provider, seeks a Project Financial Analyst to support construction project profitability through cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The role collaborates with project managers, estimators, and leadership to ensure accurate financial insights and timely mitigation of variances.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in project financial analysis, strong Excel skills, and experience with construction ERP software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Strong Excel skills with financial modeling and data analysis.
• Experience with construction-specific financial tracking and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and refining project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial plans with estimators and managers.
• Monitor actual expenditures against budgets and analyze variances weekly.
• Prepare regular project financial reports including cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather real-time cost and progress data and validate work completion.
• Review subcontractor/vendor invoices and billings for alignment with contracts and change orders.
• Maintain comprehensive project financial documentation and support process improvements in job costing and reporting.
• Assist with project close-out activities including final cost reconciliations and profitability analyses.
