Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking a Construction Engineer in the Richmond, VA area to oversee construction from a contract administration perspective. You will manage documents, coordinate with owners, agencies and contractors, and support the project manager through bidding and construction.

The role requires a civil engineering background, strong communication skills, and proficiency with CAD and MS Project. Office location is in Richmond, VA and travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and documents.
• Ability to read civil plans and contract specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction contract documents for bidding.
• Manage daily project documentation and reports.
