Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking an experienced construction project engineer to plan, develop, and manage onsite engineering activities for projects of varying size, ensuring quality and cost effectiveness.

You will oversee scheduling, cost control, and reporting, supervise project staff, and provide technical support in planning, construction methods, and design interpretation to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AGTEK Take-off and Primavera Scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage job controls to ensure contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Develop and maintain project schedule to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Supervise, direct, and mentor project staff to ensure individual development and that project standards are met.
