Job summary

Buckeye Construction & Restoration is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support Project Managers and Estimators through all project phases. The role focuses on budgeting, scheduling, and quality control to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of masonry, concrete, and steel projects.

The engineer will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, performing research, cost analyses, and vendor evaluations while contributing to process improvements and risk management

Qualifications

• Engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to understand project requirements, goals and constraints.
• Assist in estimating quantities, materials, labor, equipment and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation: plans, specs, drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate activities among clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely execution.
• Provide technical support, conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed solutions.
• Monitor progress to ensure adherence to quality standards; identify and resolve deviations.
• Identify risks and help develop mitigation strategies; contribute to contingency plans.
• Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and drive improvements.
