Job summary

Buckeye Construction & Restoration is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support project managers and estimators throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

You will help develop plans, schedules, and budgets, estimate quantities and costs, and prepare essential project documentation. The role requires collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with high quality.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related field is desired, but not required with 2+ years management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to project success.
• Exceptional organizational and time management to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for evaluating complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to understand project goals and constraints.
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Estimate quantities of materials, labor hours, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, specs, drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate activities and resources with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Provide technical expertise and conduct research, feasibility studies, and cost analysis.
• Monitor progress to ensure quality standards and timely execution.
• Identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
