Job summary

Buckeye Construction & Restoration is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support Project Managers and Project Estimators through all project phases. You will help develop plans, schedules, and budgets while assisting in cost estimation and vendor selection.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to project success.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints.
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Estimate quantities and costs for materials, labor hours, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, specs, as-built drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate activities and resources to ensure timely project execution.
• Provide technical support, conduct feasibility studies, and assist in vendor/subcontractor selection.
• Monitor progress to ensure quality standards and address deviations; conduct inspections as needed.
• Identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
