Job summary

BCR - Buckeye Construction & Restoration in Ohio seeks a Construction Project Engineer to support Project Managers and Estimators through all project phases, helping ensure budgets, timelines, and quality meet expectations.

You will assist in estimating quantities and costs, prepare project plans, maintain documentation, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Education: Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; multi-project prioritization.
• Analytical thinking with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators to understand goals, plans, budgets.
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (plans, specs, drawings, reports).
• Coordinate activities and resources to ensure timely execution.
• Provide technical support; conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.
• Monitor progress to adhere to quality standards and specs; identify deviations.
• Identify risks and help develop mitigation strategies; support contingency planning.
• Participate in post-project reviews and contribute to best practices.
