Job summary

Actalent in Denver, CO is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role will serve as a critical liaison between project teams, architects, consultants, owners, and subcontractors to ensure documentation, coordination, and administrative functions are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Engineer or Project Engineer supporting commercial construction projects.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and construction management software

Responsibilities

• Manage and track material procurement schedules and lead times.
• Coordinate material deliveries with subcontractors and field teams to support project schedules.
• Review subcontractor submittals for completeness and compliance prior to architect review.
• Generate, track, and manage RFIs.
• Maintain and distribute current project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Assist with permitting and project startup requirements.
• Coordinate punch list development and project closeout activities; collect and compile warranties, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and closeout documentation.
• Support development and implementation of project-specific QA/QC plans.
• Maintain project records, documentation, and file management systems.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, architects, owners, consultants, and subcontractors throughout project execution
