Job summary

Tri-City Group in DeKalb, IL is seeking a Project Engineer to provide on-site administrative and technical coordination for a mission-critical hyperscale project. Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience, preferably in project coordination.
• Familiarity with construction documents, submittals, and project workflows.
• Experience with Procore or Bluebeam (preferred).
• Strong organizational and documentation management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement of major equipment packages and track submittals.
• Maintain equipment tracking logs and monitor lead times and delivery schedules.
• Package and submit vendor data in compliance with project specifications.
• Assist with shop drawing reviews and submittal processes.
• Track subcontractor progress and ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Support QA/QC, commissioning, and project documentation tracking.

• Assist with testing documentation, owner training, punch list tracking, and project closeout.

Tri-City Group is currently seeking a Project Engineer for an opening in DeKalb, IL. The Project Engineer is responsible supporting project teams with on-site administrative and technical coordination across a mission-critical hyperscale project.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support procurement of major equipment packages and track submittals
• Maintain equipment tracking logs and monitor lead times and delivery schedules
• Package and submit vendor data in compliance with project specifications
• Assist with shop drawing reviews and submittal processes
