Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to join Clark Civil, coordinating with clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and staff throughout the project lifecycle.

This hands-on role requires 2+ years in construction, a degree in engineering or related field, and proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace. Strong drawing/specs reading, communication, and a proactive mindset align with Clark's excellence standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 2+ years experience in an engineer, project engineer, or similar role in construction.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications; proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers on scoping, take-offs, and purchasing activities.
• Prepare and forward submittals; ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Develop and update project schedules and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Lead the development of project plans and monitor material deliveries.
• Review change proposals and negotiate with trade partners.
• Coordinate drawings with Project Manager and Superintendent; draft change orders.
• Solicit prices from subcontractors and suppliers; perform scope take-off and cost estimation.
• Lead project close-out; assemble manuals, warranties, and final payment documents.
• Develop and lead training sessions for team and trade partners; manage document systems.
• Cultivate industry relationships to attract opportunities and top talent.
