Job summary

Okland Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to assist with quality assurance, construction administration, and coordination across projects, including a new battery plant. You will help manage subcontractors, participate in change orders, and support stakeholder communications and meeting minutes.

The role emphasizes coordination, documentation, and accurate records, with opportunities to grow in cost control, procurement, and risk management on a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years of experience on commercial construction projects.
• General knowledge of LEED principles and sustainability.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, blueprints, and construction documents.
• Strong multitasking, proactive, and deadline‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PM, superintendent, owner, architect, and subcontractors to align scope, schedule, and priorities.
• Lead project meetings, document decisions/action items, and ensure follow‑through.
• Maintain accurate project records in Procore/Prolog; manage RFIs and submittals.
• Support cost control, changes, procurement, and CO/PR logs.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely closeout and turnover.
