Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking an experienced QA/QC Project Manager to support the delivery of major electrical construction projects. You will oversee QA, QC, and commissioning scopes across multiple sites, collaborating with project leadership, electricians, inspectors, production teams, clients, and general contractors.

You will streamline QA/CX processes, identify lessons learned, and ensure quality standards and client requirements are consistently met across projects.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience with an Associate Degree.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic typing and computer skills.
• Strong ability to establish effective relationships with customers, GCs, owners, and office personnel.
• Ability to proactively manage responsibilities and complete tasks within required timelines.
• Knowledge of electrical single-line diagrams.
• Ability to utilize the NEC to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Work calmly under deadlines and external pressure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.

QA/QC Project Manager | Electrical Construction

Partnered with an ENR electrical contractor is seeking an experienced QA/QC Project Manager to support the delivery of major construction projects.

This position will oversee Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Commissioning scopes across multiple sites, working closely with project leadership, electricians, inspectors, production teams, clients, general contractors, owners, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining quality and commissioning processes across projects, identifying lessons learned, improving installation procedures, and ensuring that quality standards and client requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality and Commissioning scopes across multiple sites.
• Take responsibility for streamlining the QA/CX process across all associated projects.
• Evaluate lessons learned across sites and implement improvements to enhance project success.
• Engineer and track sites using a live project schedule.
• Maintain open communication and coordination between all projects.
• Understand and communicate client needs and requirements to quality and production teams.
• Develop and implement methods to improve processes and achieve higher-quality installations.
• Review specifications and installation procedures and train staff on their proper implementation.
• Establish installation requirements and monitor compliance with established standards.
• Supervise inspectors, technicians, electricians, and other staff members, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure site obligations are followed and that projects remain compliant with applicable guidelines and requirements.
• Collect, compile, and analyze relevant quality data and statistics to evaluate quality performance.
• Oversee production procedures to identify deviations from established quality standards.
• Direct weekly and monthly meetings with team members.
• Supervise electricians, inspectors, and company staff to ensure duties are performed in accordance with established quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and perform statistical analysis as required.
• Obtain client feedback, attend project meetings, submit quality reports, and assist external auditors and inspectors.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management, providing updates on quality activities, performance, and project requirements.

Required Qualifications
