Wight & Company is seeking a motivated construction professional in Darien, IL to support project teams from preconstruction through closeout. The role emphasizes managing drawings, submittals, RFIs, and daily site activities with a focus on coordination and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in commercial construction, possess an engineering/architecture background, and are comfortable using MS Office, Bluebeam, Revit or CAD.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in Construction, Engineering or Architecture.
• Internship(s) or up to 3 years’ work experience in the commercial construction field.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• OSHA 10 or 30 hour preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining accurate and current project drawings, specifications and document control systems.
• Review and process submittals, RFI’s, and change requests.
• Track material lead time and fabrication status.
• Facilitate closeout document collection and organization.
• Assign punchlist to subcontractors and track completion.
• Take daily progress photos and record construction activities.
• Assist the team with subcontractor coordination and communication.
• Prepare daily reports, site safety programs, inspections and observation tracking.
• Assist with change order requests and time and material tracking.
• Support preconstruction team with project bid and award process.
• Support the project manager and superintendent in the day-to-day management and administration of projects.
• Assist project managers with monitoring project financial management.
