Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a motivated entry-level Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of construction projects in Richmond, VA. You will collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards while gaining hands-on field experience.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field and 0–4 years of experience. OSHA 30 preferred; completion within 6 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 0–4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals.
• Coordinates with project managers and teams to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
• Monitors project schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances for timely corrective actions.
• Supports the implementation of standard quality assurance and safety protocols across project phases.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
