Job summary

Jobot is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in Wisconsin. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents across Janesville, Madison, or Milwaukee offices to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and 1–4 years of experience, with proficiency in construction management software and a strong detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in a project engineer or similar construction role.
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, team-first attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, healthcare, or education projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across construction phases.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation to keep work moving.
• Support procurement of materials, subcontracts, and equipment.
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and design teams daily.
• Conduct site visits and field observations to monitor progress and quality.
• Contribute to project closeout, punch lists, and owner turnover.
