Job summary

Jobot in Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support our Janesville, Madison, or Milwaukee offices. You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure successful delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The role requires a 1–4 year background in project engineering or related construction work, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with Procore or Bluebeam. Collaboration and attention to detail are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in a project engineer or similar construction role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative, team-first attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, healthcare, or education projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of construction
• Managing submittals, RFIs, and project documentation to keep projects moving efficiently
• Supporting procurement of materials, subcontracts, and equipment
• Communicating with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and design teams on a daily basis
• Conducting site visits and field observations to monitor progress and quality
• Contributing to project closeout, punch lists, and owner turnover
