Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Newark, New Jersey is looking for a capable Construction Contract Administrator to support field engineering and monitor contractor compliance on diverse infrastructure programs.

You will assist the Resident Engineer or Project Manager with contract administration, interpret plans, maintain records, and help manage submittals, change orders, and monthly progress payments. A Bachelor's in Engineering with 4+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years' experience; or Master's with fewer years.
• Master's or Doctorate in Engineering highly preferred for advanced project work.
• Proficient in Excel and progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer/Project Manager in construction contract administration.
• Interpret plans and reviews submittals for contract compliance.
• Maintain as-built drawings, records, and test results.
• Log inspector daily reports and process payments and submittals.
• Support project controls and change orders processing.
• Facilitate timely issue resolution for scheduling and constructability.
