Job summary

The role requires reading plans, coordinating with architects, contractors and clients, and using Microsoft Project and BIM tools to manage timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or related field.
• Experience in project engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, change orders, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and coordinate detailed engineering designs and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and manage cost estimations and budgets, including tracking and processing change orders to control project financials.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and resolve technical challenges.
• Utilize project management tools to monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that engineering designs are implemented correctly and to address any on-site issues promptly.
