Job summary

Pacific Marine is seeking a Project Engineer to join our construction team. This role focuses on bridging design, engineering, and field operations to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will develop and review detailed shop drawings, manage cost estimates and change orders, and collaborate with managers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure quality. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience in project engineering within construction are required;

Qualifications

• Ability to read plans and specifications and create detailed shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of project coordination, cost estimation, and change order management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of BIM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and coordinate engineering designs and shop drawings.
• Prepare and manage cost estimations and change orders.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor schedules and ensure work aligns with project timelines.
• Conduct site visits to verify on-site implementation.
