Job summary

E&K Building Excellence in Denver is seeking a seasoned construction documentation specialist to manage contract documents, drawings, RFIs, and submittals. You will gather quotes, organize subcontractor documents, and support cost analysis and forecasting for projects across the U.S.

The ideal candidate has OST/QuickBid experience, strong reading of contracts and drawings, and solid budgeting, scheduling, and estimations skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with OST and QuickBid preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, schedules, and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction budgets, scheduling, and estimating.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Education: College Degree or Field Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Contract document management; updating contract drawings and specifications, RFIs and change management and submittals.
• Scanning and uploading documents and emails onto OnBase.
• Soliciting quotes from Suppliers, Vendors and Subcontractors.
• Management of job-specific subcontractor related documents.
• Creating submittals packages; obtaining product data, maintenance information, SDS sheets, LEED letters, and shop drawings.
• Assisting with forecasting / cost analysis
• Research and cost analysis of new products and manufacturers
• Producing cost breakdowns / color coded drawings
• Assisting with change order takeoff / pricing
• Drafting and submitting RFIs
• Assisting with QA process
• Assisting with job close-out process
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
