Job summary

Welty Technology is seeking a Project Coordinator/ Project Engineer to oversee planning, design, and execution of commercial construction projects across the United States, with a strong focus in NE Ohio. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, develop detailed engineering designs and shop drawings, and manage schedules and budgets to meet deadlines and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• 0-2 years of PE/Construction experience (Preferred)
• Successful completion of company training and role-specific professional development coursework (Required).
• Successful completion and maintenance of First Aid Certification, CPR (Required).
• All OSHA training required to supervise project.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining Project Schedule
• Create Request for Quotations, collect and qualify quotations, tabulate quotations for PM’s approval for all RFQ.
• Assist Project Manager/Superintendent in creating RFIs, FWDs and Bulletins
• Assist Project Manager/Superintendent with Scope of Work changes
• Request Bid Evaluations
• Utilize the project management software
• Create and distribute Project Meeting Minutes
• Maintains subcontractor list for bidding
• Transmits invitation to bid letters
• Assist Estimator / PM in tracking bidders
• Assembles Scope of Work Book and distributes Bid Documents
• Contacts unsuccessful bidders to return Bid Documents
• Transmits submittals to Architects and subcontractors
• Tracks and Files Certified Payroll reports
• Scans and files project progress photos
• Drafts memoranda and bulletins on project changes
• Assists in creating presentation materials
• Assists in the Monthly Progress Reports
• Assist in taking Meeting Minutes
• Performs other duties as directed by PMs or Office Manager
• Other duties as assigned.
