Job summary

Regency Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support commercial projects across Northeast Ohio. You will work with project managers and superintendents to enhance delivery, controls, and coordination on diverse projects.

Responsibilities include submittals, RFIs, take-offs, schedule updates, and cost tracking. A background in engineering and strong communication are essential, with OSHA training and a valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.
• Understanding of commercial construction drawings and submittals.
• Ability to coordinate site activities and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain submittal, RFI, and plan revision logs using Procore to ensure smooth field operations.
• Prepare quantity take-offs to support budget estimates, scheduling, and subcontractor procurement.
• Review contract drawings and specifications to evaluate constructability, accuracy, and completeness.
• Coordinate timely material deliveries and assist the Superintendent with schedule monitoring and updates using P6.
• Track job costs, assemble financial data, process subcontractor pay applications through GC Pay, and update margin reporting.
• Record jobsite photo documentation, assist with project permit processing, and prepare meeting minutes for weekly project updates.
• Support site safety programs, compile as-built drawings, and facilitate complete project closeout documentation.
