Job summary

Regency Construction Services, Inc. in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Construction Executive to lead commercial projects across the region.

You will oversee preconstruction and construction operations, mentor project teams, and drive excellence from estimate through closeout. The role requires a strategic leader with deep CMAR/GMP experience, a strong regional network, and a commitment to safety and quality on complex commercial, higher education, and civic projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive construction management experience.
• Proven experience leading CMAR and GMP project delivery.
• Strong track record in Commercial, Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Non-Profit, or Civic sectors.
• Excellent relationships with subcontractors in the Northeast Ohio area.
• OSHA 30 Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain) and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for project managers, superintendents, and engineers to ensure high‑quality execution.
• Lead comprehensive preconstruction processes, including estimate reviews, GMP documents, constructability analysis, and schedule development.
• Manage contracts budgets, change orders, pay applications, and schedule reports.
• Foster long-term partnerships with owners, designers, vendors, and subcontractors regionally.
• Enforce safety protocols, quality control, and corporate procedures.
• Identify new business opportunities and represent the firm at community events.

Job Overview

• Company: Regency Construction Services, Inc.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $120,000 to $140,000 per year (Salary) plus Annual Bonus.
• Location: Cleveland, OH.
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (Work at the office and/or site daily; up to 10% travel required).
• Project Scope: Commercial, Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Non-Profit, and Civic Projects.
• Mandatory Licences & Certifications: OSHA 30 Training Certificate (Regency can provide) and Valid Driver's License.

How You Will Make An Impact

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive construction management experience.
• Proven experience leading Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) project delivery processes.
• Demonstrated track record managing projects in Commercial, Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Non‑Profit, or Civic sectors.
• Strong regional network and established relationships with subcontractors across the Northeast Ohio area.
• Deep technical understanding of contracts, pay applications, financial reporting, constructability reviews, and change orders.
• OSHA 30 Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain via company‑provided training) and a Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Proficiency in construction management and scheduling software including P6, Procore, and PlanGrid.
• Advanced skills in risk management, contract negotiation, and multi‑project financial forecasting.
• Strong alignment with core team principles, including coachability, personal ownership, teamwork, and proactive problem‑solving.
