Job summary

Fred Olivieri Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in North Canton, OH. You will collaborate with the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.

The role involves documentation, scheduling, RFIs, site visits, and maintaining logs while promoting safety and quality on diverse retail, restaurant, and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree (or active studies) in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or other related field from an accredited program.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Procore (or equivalent) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day project activities from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs.
• Maintain accurate project records and logs.
• Support project scheduling and monitor progress against timelines.
• Review and process submittals for compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Prepare and track RFIs; attend project meetings and distribute minutes.
• Assist Superintendent with photo documentation and daily logs; liaison between stakeholders.
• Help ensure work complies with contract documents, building codes, and safety standards.
