Job summary

Skanska USA seeks a dynamic Project Engineer to contribute to the delivery of construction projects across various verticals. You will support contract setup, project administration, and field coordination while maintaining rigorous project documentation and on-site oversight of activities and deliveries.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and collaboration with clients, contractors, and design partners to advance schedules and ensure quality, safety, and successful project

Qualifications

• 1+ years of creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence on contract notification provisions.
• 1+ years of reading and understanding construction plans and drawings; outline specifications for submissions and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
• 1+ years’ experience with project close out.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution through contract setup, project administration, and field coordination.
• Maintain project data in the PMIS and manage submittals and RFIs.
• Assist with permit process and maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project life cycle.
• Regularly be on site to monitor construction activities and inspect material deliveries.
• Promote Skanska’s safety standards and team culture.
