Job summary

Pulice is seeking a Project Engineer to track cost data and keep projects on budget, leveraging construction knowledge and resource monitoring. You will review schedules, manage RFIs, and coordinate subcontractor work to ensure efficient project performance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in construction engineering, with experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and schedule management across design-build or similar methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years construction engineering experience.
• Experience with cost accounting and budgeting.
• Knowledge of scheduling and production time management.
• Experience with design-build or alternative build methods.

Responsibilities

• Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedule and confirm resources.
• Review shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data.
• Provide input for project work plan and scheduling.
• Identify risk elements that could impact budget or schedule.
• Evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections to track performance.
• Update project schedule weekly for owner and management reporting.
• Prepare and manage a three-week work plan and mitigate delays and costs.
• Initiate and manage all RFIs.
• Remit accurate project quantities and cost coding for reporting.
• Manage invoicing with accounting team for materials and subcontractor needs.
• Review certificates and permits needed to perform work.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses for safety and compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews.
