Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage and supervise engineering and administrative functions at the project level in Lancaster, PA. You will coordinate with field operations to ensure information is transferred accurately and implemented, under the direction of the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.

The role requires eight years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree, and strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, and BIM/Lean techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and eight years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, and engineering principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with BIM, Lean methods, and project management software is desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise engineering and administrative policies, procedures and functions at the project level.
• Coordinate with project field operations to ensure information is delivered, understood and implemented.
• Lead the engineering staff and participate in performance appraisals.
• Prepare procurement and trade scope documents, and manage change orders.
• Ensure safety, ethics and compliance requirements are followed at all times.
• Oversee project close-out, including warranties, final payments and records retention.
