MAI Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project managers from bid through close out. You will assist in bidding, subcontracting, and estimating for self-performed work, while handling submittals, RFI’s, and invoicing processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the office and field, participation in trade shows, and a proactive, client-centered approach to achieve project goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in CM or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1.5+ years’ experience as a project engineer.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Project.
• Good understanding of all trades including MEP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Liaison between project managers on all aspects from bid through project close out.
• Assist in bidding out projects to subcontractors, estimating for self-performed work and preparing proposals.
• Assist project manager with prime contract and issuing subcontracts.
• Integral part of the construction team, working on submittals, change orders, RFI’s, project documents, project meetings, invoicing owner, reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices and overall project processes.
• Liaison between office and field.
• Participate in trade shows and industry organizations.
